Udhayanidhi Stalin, who has acquired the distribution rights of ‘Mynaa’, along with Kalpathi S Aghoram’s AGS Entertainments, has said that it is a different film and he was stunned watching it.

Speaking to reporters in Chennai Monday, the young producer said, “I was thoroughly impressed by the film directed by Prabhu Solomon. I couldn't sleep for two days after watching. Hence I decided release it on my own”.

Happy about Udhayanidhi’s Red Gaint Movies and AGS Entertainments acquiring the movie’s release rights, Prabhu Solomon said, “The film is about two youth born and brought up in tribal areas falling in love and problems they face. We travelled over 1200 kilometers and spotted a hillock at Kurangani near Bodi to shoot the movie”.

The movie shot exclusively in deep jungles of Tamil Nadu-Kerala border features newcomer Vidharath and ‘Sindhu Samaveli’ fame Anakha in the lead roles. “After struggling with rain, shower and summer, we completed the movie in 68 days,” Solomon added.
